Top 10 Citizens Grant Countries by Investment: Ranking in 2019

Over the past six months, the level of applying for citizenship according to the principle of the so-called “golden passport” (the naturalization process by investing in the country's economy) has fallen in such regions as Western and Central Europe, Central America, and the countries of the Indian and Pacific oceans. Now the most profitable investment, experts of the British financial consulting centre Lloyds call the passports of the Caribbean countries

Two weeks ago, a team of investment banking specialists from the Lloyds group presented a factoring report on the prospects for obtaining citizenship in the countries of the world with the help of a “golden passport”. Noting in the report the fact of the fall of registrations in the usual jurisdictions like Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Croatia, Singapore, Hong Kong and others.

Now in the first place in terms of the “price of costs-benefits” are the passports of ten of these countries from the Caribbean and Southern Europe as:

• Antigua and Barbuda;
• Dominica;
• Saint Lucia;
• Grenada;
• Saint Kitts and Nevis;
• Vanuatu;
• Turkey;
• Montenegro;
• Moldova;
• Malta.

Investment bankers are convinced that the growth in applying for citizenship in these countries will grow by 10-11% by the end of 2019. The reason for such a change in guidelines should be considered a change in the rules for registering companies in offshore jurisdictions, as well as an active fight against them by the EU and the USA.
